Laura Modrell is a dedicated kindergarten teacher who has been inspiring young learners in Gilbert Public Schools for the past ten years.  She believes kindergarten is the most important year of the school, laying the foundation for a lifetime of curiosity and confidence.  Known for her fun, energetic teaching style, Laura fills her classroom with laughter, creativity, and hands-on learning.  She especially loves incorporating picture books and art into her lessons to spark imagination and joy.  For Laura, the greatest highlight of teaching is helping children learn to read and watching their world open up with every new word.
