Mrs. Towne loves children, and when her eighth child prepared for kindergarten, she did not want to be home without her children around her, so she decided it was time to add a Masters of Arts in teaching from Kansas State to her Bachelor of Science from BYU, and teach at Greenfield where hr own children were. She has been at Greenfield for five years, and taught both kindergarten and second grade.
Mrs. Towne wants every student in her care to feel loved and valued, and to leave her classroom each day with a desire to return the next day. She wants each parent to have confidence that their child's needs will be met in their absence. If students are given a strong love for learning in their early childhood years, we have gained their trust and commitment to education for life. She plans to give your child the building blocks they need to create a strong foundation for their future. Together they will explore how to learn about the big, wide world around us and how to become a confident, contributing member of our community.
She encourages you to follow the sea turtles into our classroom -- where "fair winds" will fill our sails and carry us towards our educational destination......and "flowing seas" will gently push us from behind to aid us in our journey. Mrs. Towne can't wait to meet you and embark together.
